In recent years, costs have risen steadily in the maintenance
of public schools. In response, our focus has turned
towards designing mechanical, electrical and fire protection
systems capable of supporting multi-use classrooms,
offers ease in maintenance while consuming less energy-
thereby reducing overall costs. To enhance the learning
environment, other considerations made include designing
acoustically efficient classrooms to diminish sound
transference in addition to constructing systems capable
of sustaining internet-ready computer classrooms as
well as workstations and laboratories.
